If you are gonna turn up empty handed, you are going to want to know where to go to get your things before getting out your bed in the morning. Here is a few tips of where to go for that well earned and looked after kit that will have you on your way.
Rental:
Despite being part of a big chain of resorts with all the usual trimmings of corporate rental shops offering service that resembles a production line, you really should head for the little guy in this resort

BSS - AKA Burton Snowboard School
Despite its name and obvious links to big companies, it is in fact locally owned and run by some of the nicest people you will come across in your whole stay in the area. The Burton part refers to the strong ties that they have with he godfather company which has entrusted the good people at BSS with method centre and LTR status. Pick up your brand spanking new Burton hire equipment from here, take your darn cheap lessons and remember that the whole time you are laying out your turns, you are helping keep one of the best shops in town in school books and shoes...... aaahhhhh harmony in the world of the corporate production line, bliss.
Buying your new treads:
If your mum has let you access your trust fund early, or you mugged that busker on your way to the airport, then you are probably going to want to purchase the newest line of space aged tech boxer shorts that wipe your own arse..... well, heres our tip:

Slap bang in the centre of Liptovsky Mikulas, opposite Cafe Cocktail where you will have spent the day sunning yourself on the terrace watching the girls go by, you will find 2 Alliance boardstores a few doors apart. The first is the all singing, all dancing boutique which has all this years kit, nicely laid out and with the hottest assistants you will ever encounter...... Burton, Gravis, Red etc can be found here and you will have all you want to be ready for the set up.... The second Alliance shop is for those who's dads probably raided your trust fund to pay his way through his addiction to obscure fetishes. Last seasons discounted stock and everything you could ever want in one place.... I spent my busking money on a pair of Gravis trainers, 15 euros.... bargain.
